TONY BENTLEY - Director & 16U Coach

In 2012, Tony Bentley, with the help of Horace Willis, founded a non-profit organization called Team Prolook.  Team Prolook is an AAU Basketball Program that is made up of players from the DMV area.  Coach Bentley has been coaching high school basketball for over 30 years (Washington-Lee 1991-2002 & Wakefield 2002-present).  He is currently the Head Coach at Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA.  He has led Wakefield to 3 Regional Championships, 7 Conference Championships, and 7 State appearances.  Bentley has amassed 350 career victories since 2002.  He has been named Regional Coach of the Year (2005, 2014, & 2018) & District Coach of the Year (2004, 2005, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018).  He is currently the coach of the 2022 17U Prolook team.

Horace Willis (Coach Buck) has been the Assistant Director of the Team Prolook Organization since 2012. He is also the Assistant Varsity Coach at Wakefield High School, where he has been the past 20 years. He is a veteran coach who has also trained several basketball players. Coach Buck has over 29 years of coaching experience with high school basketball (Washington-Lee 1992-2002 & Wakefield 2002-present), amateur leagues, and all-star basketball camps.  His focuses are on fundamentals. His philosophy, “For a player to truly trust their abilities, they must have the building blocks needed to succeed. The combination of fundamental skills and situational awareness provides key assets to the developing player that makes them valuable to not only their current team but provides the basis for future success.”  He is currently the coach of the 2022 16U Prolook team.

Robert Dobson 17U

W-L coach wins his 300th career game  Sports

Bobby Dobson is in his first season with Team Prolook.  Dobson comes to Team Prolook with a wealth of basketball knowledge.  He played his high school basketball at Flint Hill where is team was ranked #1 in the Country his senior year.  He played his college basketball at Longwood College (1985-89).  He started his coaching career at Bishop O’Connell in 1992 as the Head JV Coach.  He has been the Head Coach at Washington-Liberty since the 1993-94 season.  He has over 325 career wins.  Coach Dobson has led his programs to District Championships (1996, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2022).  He is currently the assistant coach of the 2022 17U Prolook team.

Mike Robinson has been with Team Prolook since 2013.  He was a 1996 McDonald's All-American and a third-team Parade All-American.  He averaged 30.2 points, 11.3 rebounds as a senior at Richwoods High in Illinois.  Robinson played in college at Purdue University from 1996-2000 where he was an All-Big Ten selection.  After Purdue, he then played professionally in Europe for a couple of teams, then in Argentina for 10 years.  After his professional years, Robinson was a graduate assistant at Purdue University 2013-14.  From 2014-16 he was an assistant at Wakefield High School.  He is currently the Head Coach at South County High School in Lorton, VA where he has won 2 Regional Championships (2018 & 2020) and 2 State Championships (2018 & 2020).  He is currently the coach of the 2022 15U Prolook team.

Zack Esherick played for Coach Buck's 16U team and Coach Bentley's 17U team during the early years of the Team Pro Look organization in 2012 and 2013. Zack was a 3-year starter on varsity at nearby Yorktown High School and went on to be a practice player/manager for one season at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Zack has several years of coaching experience at the high school level and currently is an assistant coach for the Boys' Varsity Basketball Team at Maret High School in Washington, D.C.

Nicko Esherick, was the starting point guard at Yorktown High School (2008-2011) where he graduated from (2011) and currently coaches within the Arlington Travel Basketball circuit, where he is the head coach of a 5th grade team. 

Dianne Lewis 14U

Dianne Lewis is the Girls Varsity Head Coach at Edison High School where she just completed her 19th season and has compiled a record of 360-82.   She has guided the Lady Eagles to ten Conference titles, seven Region championships, seven State Final-Four appearances and three State Championship appearances.   Coach Lewis also served as a court coach and assistant coach for USA Basketball, where they competed internationally in Mexico, France and Spain from 2014-17. She has coached AAU basketball for 20 years at various age groups ranging from 10 year olds to 18 year olds.  Her passion is coaching and making a difference in the lives of our youth.
